Real aviation experience. Real professionalism. Right here in your backyard.
Hi, I'm Anthony Clevinger — the founder of Excelsior Aerial Solutions.
My aviation story started in 2002, when I joined the U.S. Marine Corps straight out of high school as an F/A-18C Electrician. I spent five years with VMFA-251 — the "Thunderbolts" — leading teams of Marines across the globe, from the flight deck of the USS Enterprise to the desert of Iraq. That experience set the tone for everything I've done since. The thunderbolt in the Excelsior logo is my nod to that chapter.
After the Marines, I worked in the retail agriculture industry part time while attending college full time. After graduation, I spent time in the semiconductor industry, the commercial aviation industry, and law enforcement — totaling more than twenty years of hands-on technical and leadership work in demanding environments. Today I serve as the Manager of Flight Simulator Operations at Purdue University. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Purdue and I’m an FAA Part 107 certified Remote Pilot.
I bring an aviation professional's approach to every mission — safety, precision, and attention to detail you can count on.
I'd love to help with your next project. Reach out and let's talk.
— Tony
